ALDHS is preparing the materials and process related to accreditation. Until this page is updated with a named accreditor, scope, and dates—and those details appear in the accreditor’s own directory—do not assume ALDHS or its Medical Assisting program is accredited.
Approval, accreditation, certification, and licensure are different. California employment rules for medical assistants, private certifications such as CCBMA, and school accreditation answer different questions.
What this page will show when ready
- Whether accreditation applies to the institution, the program, or both
- The recognized accreditor’s full name
- Effective dates and any limitations of scope
- A link to the accreditor’s public directory entry
